GameTime Matching Funds

On its own play systems, GameTime adds extra equipment value. The biggest share, as much as the whole price, goes to orders over $75,000 paid in full; smaller or financed orders get less. Within the lower 48 states (every state but Alaska and Hawaii), this offer applies only to GameTime play systems. See GameTime's grant page for the current round.

GameTime Product Lines and PlayCore Research

Because it is a PlayCore company, the manufacturer uses work from the PlayCore Research Institute to develop its commercial play structures. When committees compare commercial playground manufacturers, they find GameTime grouping its core catalog by PowerScape, PrimeTime, Xscape, IONiX, and Modern City lines.

Hardware, Decks, and Posts: Warranty Coverage

As your committee reviews the ongoing upkeep of a site, note that what the warranty covers varies by part of the structure. GameTime offers a lifetime limited warranty covering all hardware and the uprights for PowerScape, PrimeTime, Xscape, IONiX, and Modern City. The main vertical posts that support a play structure are called uprights.

A fifteen-year limited warranty from the manufacturer also covers footbucks, braces, loops, rails, rungs, pipes, and metal decks. Under a deck, footbucks serve as metal supports where stairs or climbers attach.

Is It Possible for Matching Funds to Lower Your Equipment Price?

In the contiguous United States, the Community Champions program from GameTime provides matching funds on equipment prices for its play systems rather than cash grants. You may receive up to 100% in matching funds for systems over $75,000 paid in full, up to 80% for fully paid systems from $25,000 to $75,000, and up to 65% for systems over $25,000 bought on credit. State programs open to churches, schools, preschools, towns, nonprofits, and HOAs appear in our playground grants finder, which you may also want to review.

Comparing Prices From Local Representatives

GameTime plans on $1,000 of equipment for each child playing at once. For 30 children, our playground cost estimate sets the equipment at about $30,000, the freight at $4,500 and the installation at $7,500 to $10,500, for a total of $49,900 to $57,400 including engineered wood fiber across 2,250 square feet. Shredded wood designed to cushion falls under play structures is called engineered wood fiber.

Because regional networks sell commercial play systems, we assist committees in comparing GameTime with other manufacturers without needing to contact each representative individually. One short request sent through our playground quote form reaches dealers of playground equipment and representatives for manufacturers, who provide quotes on equipment, surfacing, and installation for your site.

Ask dealers to quote GameTime equipment

Tell us about the site once. Dealers who sell commercial playground equipment in your area use it to quote equipment, surfacing and installation.

By sending this request, you agree that playground equipment dealers and manufacturers' representatives may email or call you about this project, including by automated means. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything.
